Archicad keeps telling me that I have one library part that is missing. I downloaded it and now I don't want it. What is the proper way to delete an object in the embedded library so that Archicad does not keep telling me that it is missing? Do I need to find it and load it then delete it from the Library Manager?

If you need the object then reload library from library manager and if you don’t need the object you can delete it from project so the message will disappear.

How do I delete something that is not there? I cannot find the file.

@4hotshoes At the top of your screenshot / Library Manager ... you have two tabs: you have the linked (external) libraries selected. Click on the "Embedded Library" tab to find the object and delete it. I assume you've already deleted the placed instance, otherwise, you'll get a missing library part error after deleting the object itself...

I am trying to learn how to clear all warnings. The object is in a folder. I linked the folder and the warning went away. But I don't want the object on my computer or connected in any way to my project. It is not embedded, so I can't delete it. Maybe I need to move it out of the folder and embed it to delete it?

As soon as you add the object to your loaded libraries, the warning will disappear.
The "Missing' warning means that it is not in your library (sounds like that is what you want), but it still exists somewhere in your model.
Being a label it could be on a plan or any elevation/section.
Use Find & Select to look for that particular label, and then open each storey, section and elevation, turning all layers on, and search for that label.
When you find it, delete it and the message should go away.
Barry.

I experimented with the object in the model. It didn't work so I deleted all that I inserted, but apparently Archicad thinks that it is still inserted. It may create some residual effect. I don't want it in my model or in the library or anywhere on my computer. I doesn't work. I did fine he GSM file and placed it in a library to get the warning off. But that is just a temporary fix until I am done with the project. I am learning about libraries and how to fix the problems of missing and duplicate parts. I use to ignore them, but they are too annoying to ignore anymore.

It is in your model somewhere if the Library Manager is telling you it is missing.
It is literally a case of opening every view , turning all layers on and seeing if it is there.
There is only one of them and it could be anywhere.
You can always save a copy of your file, and then start deleting sections and elevations.
Check the Library manager each time you delete one (or two or three) and if the 'Missing' disappears, that will narrow down where it is.
If you delete all of the sections and elevations and it is still there, try worksheets and details maybe?
If still there then delete each storey one by one.
Because you are working on a copy it won't matter if you destroy that file.
Barry.

It is not attribute definitions that the object may have added that are missing right?
