Missing window sash

I'm trying to create a arched window using the "W Eyebrows Fixed" Standard window. I'm unable to get the sash to appear across the top/under the arch.

Your question is unclear: this is a fixed window. What is that you want to appear that does not? Are you wanting a curved sash frame at the top? It sounds like you might be looking for a horizontal sash divider under the arch ... which would be an arch-top window, not the fixed one.

Can you say more precisely what it is that you cannot accomplish?

Please post your real location (not "world") so that people know how to help you ... the library varies by country. From your colleague's post, I realize you are in the US ... and so you should be using the Special Edition 9 library under build 2172 of ArchiCAD 9. Give us your platform as well - XP or OS X.

Yes, we're looking for the curved upper sash of the fixed window which is missing if you look carefully.

This post came from our Portland, OR studio. We're running on WinXP.

Looks fine to me... see attached. Perhaps a problem with the earlier library you're using, or a problem with parameter values?

Hmm. On looking closer, at least the SE9 version, and trying to use the 7' width and 2' height in the original post - basically making this a transom arch window - I run into a variety of problems attempting to get the desired shape. Seems a bit buggy.

For me the SE library has not been just a bit buggy, but a huge stink bug. It has been a "Virtual" waste of my time. How can they release a library with so many problems.

Because of comments like this, I have continued to hold of on downloading and using the SE library. I am disappointed that once again I will have to re-fix my favorites settings once AC10 arrives.

Yes, I have some "free" time now (looking to be very busy when AC10 is released) so I thought I was doing myself a favor by converting all of my favorites and templates based on the AC SE9 (bases for AC10 Lib). But to no avail. But maybe it is just me that does not know how to set-up the window parameters in the "better" AC SE9 library. I quess it is back to the AC9 Standard Windows and doors for now (and maybe for later...)

Jay,
Stop being so hard on yourself. The work you did trying to set up the doors and windows will undoubtably be a useful start as Graphisoft continues to make improvement.

And just think of all the improvements you posted for them to start working on
