Mouldings and Panels with SEO to Roof

Hello all,

I am using the Mouldings and Panels Wall Accessory to display a Wainscot material at the Gable end. I am using a Tall "Baseboard" material to represent the lower wall material and am choosing a different material for the Wainscot.

If the wall has a single pitched roof as the SEO operator and the "Use Top Edge" is checked in the Moldings Settings, the Wainscot material ends up being "angled at the SEO Roof Pitch. See Attached.

I have never seen this before, but most often the Wall with the Accessory is SEO'ed to two Opposing roof pitches. In this case the Material orientation remains level. See Future Attachments.

Here is the view of the Wall Molding with the "Use Top Edge" is un-checked in the Moldings Settings.

Here is a Molding that is an Accessory to a wall that has two opposing roofs as SEO Operators. The Material remains properly oriented.

That is properly oriented, unless of course, it is desired to have the Material Orient parallel to the Roof Pitch. Maybe splitting the wall into two, one on each side of the ridge, would produce the Angled Material. WHich in my case I do not want anyway.

In an attempt to "fix" the Material Orientation. I got the Material to display correctly w/ a Workaround of adding an extra SEO Cut Plane.

But after all that, when a Raked Window was placed in the wall, the Windows "Wallhole" Cut a Rectangular hole in the Wainscot Panel Material.... bummer.

I guess I am just back to adding a separate wall above with the wainscot material and with the Window placed in this "upper" wall.

Interesting behavior. Does anyone know if the Accessory Pack by Cadimage Behaves correctly?

It only works if you Trim to Roof, not if you use SEOs.

Is the "it" you are talking about

* The Material in the Panel retains the original orientation.

OR

* The wall hole is cut correctly in the Panel Material.

or both.

And this is with the Third Party Add-on. Correct?

OK, let's try it again:
The Accessory object only trims correctly with Trim to Roof, not Solid Element Operations.

I cannot say about the materials, since I have seen all kinds of strange unexplained behaviour with them.
