We create our specs in MS Word in a 22"h x 8"w page format, print to pdf and mount them to the drawings. Most will fit into a one page format but some will go to two (or three) pages. Since word requires margins we have to resize each file to crop out the borders so they are 7.5" wide and fit on our 30" layout evenly. Otherwise, we waste a lot of space, and have to use more pages, if we leave the margins intact. BTW - Most of our projects are 24 x 36 (D size).
Is there any way to create formated windows so that you can import pdf files of specs directly into them. Is it the same as creating cells on the drawing for details?
