Need help with a roof

i have attached an image on how my roof is looking at the eaves where they meet the hip rafter. I am wondering why is my fascia looking like this?

Fine detail you have there.

Lads on the job site will beat you up for that one.

Do the roofs actually meet precisely?

It looks like the roof edges at the hips are not vertical, causing the corners to stick out. If you cut a section at the hip you will probably find a void where the roofs overlap.

To fix: Select both roofs. Click the edge and select the pet palette option for the angle. This will give the option to miter or make vertical. I usually choose the vertical option since they will then stay that way. If you miter them they are also set to vertical but as a custom angle which is retained even if the roof slope changes.
