(edit - turns out I had 'Highlight element contour during selection' unticked in Cad 28. Add embarrassed laughter...) I want to instantly recognise the reference side of a wall, without having to squint my eyes to find the (new?) middle node in Cad28. Old way of two nodes on reference line was better. No explanation in 'New features' to justify this change. 'Reference line' in view settings as a work around but this change seems unhelpful.

you can always assign a different pen color to a wall skin so it will show up during certain phases of your design process - then when you don't need that anymore you can change it back in just a click or two.

You can also turn on/off the reference lines in the on screen options.
Also passing the cursor over the wall, the mercedes cursor will go bold (thick) when you pass over the reference line.
Barry.
