Numbers of AC users in the world?

Percentage of architects/others using AC in different countries?

Last time I heard it, it was about 180 000 licenses.

Where did you heard? 100.000 on official website. It's not being refreshed recently but I doubt it is so increased.

Architectural Desktop has about 250000 licenses (don't know what percentage is using it as plain AutoCAD 2D).

I have heard so many numbers thrown out on the number of ADT licenses, from 200 to 400 thousand.

Bottom line on ADT licenses is the descrepancy between licenses OWNED and licenses USED. There may be 250,000 licenses out there, but a small percentage of those are used as ADT. The majority are used as basic AutoCAD. It's amazing to see the number of posts on ADT newsgroups, where people are asking how to strip ADT out, and run only AutoCAD.

don't forget about hundred/thousands people which are not intresting to register their software, and use it illegal )
