License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. SOLVED!

Obejct geometry changes when "Structural Function" is changed?!

hi all,

issue is post's subject.

When I change the Structural Function of the selected Skylights, all Skylights also get the same height?
Why? Thats troublesome. How else do you change such properties of a selected group of elements when you dont know whether something else gets change unwanted as well?

Thanks for any hint!

No, I actually do not know the issue, I was trying to understand it and I was guessing.
Changing that setting of the element should not under any circumstances change the geometry of the element.
I think this is a bug so I will report it to Graphisoft.

You mean that you change that field you are showing on the screenshot, and incidentally, the geometry of the Skylights also change? Which parameter of the Skylights changes? Their Nominal Width/Height?
How do they change? Do they all change to the value of the last selected Skylight element?

Dear Florian,

Thank you for the report and I am very sorry about the experience!

I believe this could be file specific, as I was unable to replicate this issue from scratch using AC23 INT 5005. I'm wondering if this issue happens with other files as well? Could you share with us this project in PLA format for a closer look? Please let me know if you need a secure link to upload the file as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Minh
