Open GL 3D View - Structure showing through roof surface

Anonymous
Not applicable
I am having trouble with Open GL views.
- when viewing the 3D from a distance, the structure below the roof shows through. (even if it has a clearance of 5mm... not preferable) - see Roof Surface Clash 01.JPG attached
- when I zoom in, it dissapears - see Roof Surface Clash 02.JPG attached <

Is it a bug?
Anybody else have this issue?
How do I resolve?

Cheers in advance

Not a bug as such but an OpenGL issue as far as I know.
It has been brought up in other posts here as well.
It won't affect your documentation (unless you are using an OpenGL view) or your renderings.
It is just an on screen problem.

The only solution I know (and you have alluded to) is to separate the surfaces by a greater distance.
Or turn of the layers of the elements you can't see.
