Open a file saved from 12 to 11

Hi! I tried to open a file it was saved from 12 to 11, with 11 and the program crash. Any help?

Check that you don't use any 12-specific objects or stuctures made by 12-only tools in the file. If you do, exchange them or explode them. The Save to 11 function will not convert them to 11-compatible items automatically.

I'm crashing in the same situation, and it is a bug that GS must fix ASAP. Any 12 specific info is supposed to be deleted upon saving 'down' to 11. The file SHOULD open, with 'missing library parts'/etc being the only result.

I used merge and it's works. But GS need to fix this bug

This is a bug connected to loading library elements. Opening a file in ArchiCAD 11 which contains library elements from 12, or even just was saved from 12 and had the Library 12 loaded once will crash.
A workaround is to rename the ArchiCAD Library 12 to for example ArchiCAD Library 12-1. In this case ArchiCAD 11 will not be able to reach the renamed folder and will not start loading it.

The bug will be fixed in the next patch for ArchiCAD 11, sorry for the inconvenience.
