we're modelling precast panel penetrations using the Opening Tool. these are well above the office, but they show up at the office level. perhaps i'm missing something, but isn't there a way for these to have the same Visible Story Settings as with most other elements?
there are also other gaps modelled using the same Opening Tool (joints in the precast panel) & they're fine showing here. it's just these well-overhead openings that we don't want shown here. turning them off with the Model View Options is an overall blanket fix which affects not just these overhead openings, but also the panel joints -- we don't want that.
Operating system used: Windows 24H2

Is the Floor Plan Display for the opening set to 'Overhead All'?

no -- it's currently set to Symbolic. i tried changing it to the other two, but it still shows up.

Overhead is working for mea as long as that opening is above the Floor Plan Cutting Plane.
All I can see are four tiny markers at the corner.
Turn off the 2D symbols as well.

FPCP settings are set to show elements to 1 storey above only. there is still a Level 2 storey between this & the Roof storey.
i tried pushing it up further, but it still appears.
if i could re-link the Openings to the upper storey it might fix it, but i couldn't find a setting. i haven't tried it, but i don't know if it links to the storey that is active in the Floor Plan the moment the Opening is created...
