Opening hosted in multiple walls.

I have a door that is two walls. ie. A concrete foundation wall and a framed wall above.

How can I best show this in section?

Currently the door "opening" shows only in the one wall and I would like to show it in both.

Use empty opening in second wall.

Yes, that is the easiest solution.

However, if you want just one wall, you can create a complex profile with the concrete wall and framed wall above all as one profile.

In fact you don't even have to create the profile - Archicad will do it for you.
Select the 2 walls in plan, EDIT menu > Reshape > Merge Walls.
This will replace the wall with a 'custom' complex profile.
Now select that wall, right mouse click and 'Edit Selected Composite Profile'
Press the 'Save' button and give the 'custom' profile a meaningful name.
Go back to your plan (section, 3D) and swap the 'custom' wall for your newly named profile.

Now you have one wall and one door as normal.

Give it a try on a copy first, just to see if you are happy with this.
Otherwise you will have to 'Undo' if you don't want it.
