Outline around shaded slab

Here is a strange thing. I've put a light grey shade on existig slab floors, to show in sections, and want a black outline around section slabs. It works as intended on one slab but refuses to show the outline on another. Slabs are adjacent and settings are the same.
Any suggestions?

Check to see if that problematic slab is actually a double-placed slab.
In such cases you normally do not see outlines in Section.
