Very sad to see so many of the old forums have been removed 😞

Where are the ppl discussing Passive House design / Sustainable design with Archicad hanging out now??

I have recently passed my Certified Passive House Designer course and would be interested to discuss with anyone using Archicad for PH design.

 Sorry, to be clearer what I am trying to say is that it seems that the GS forum has been reduced to only 6 forums now. Before there used to be many more including a forum for Sustainable design.

Are we supposed to use Labels now?

 Yes, unfortunatly I lost all my old posts but that is my fault for not transfering my old account in time.

@Strawbale23 I don't think you are alone in your disappointment at the new forum structure. Sustainable Design should be a lot more dominant in AC, unfortunately I think GS have "dropped the ball" and are now going to have to make some serious progress if AC is going to remain relevant in the fight against global warming.

Very suprised to see that the different langauge  forums have also been removed. This is such a shame. Why only English??

The old Archicad-talk forum was also an English only forum.

If there are other language forums then they should still be there.

Only Archicad-talk was transferred to this new community.

Yes there are fewer forum sections now, but all the old posts are still there (they will now be by 'Anonymous' if the user did not create an account here in time).

We must rely more on the search options now to find old posts.

My bad, Im sure I remember that there was a sections of the old forum dedicated to different languages.

My issue is not with finding old posts.

My issue is the loss of community. The different forums allowed for community development around special interests and knowledge.

You will still be able to do that. The "Tags" feature should be implemented sometime in the future and then you will be able to Tag your posts and threads, then you will be able to filter threads with these Tags, you will be able to save the filtered result web page and return to it whenever you want to check on posts about a specific area or topic.

Also, AFAIK, there are plans to integrate other language versions into the GS Community in the future.

Thanks Laszlo, its good to know that tags will be implemented, I was trying to find how to do it already.

The limitation with tags is that it requires everyone to have to guess which tags everyone elese is going to use! Tags are to a certain extent subjective.

Using tags makes sense and is good idea but is limited. I dont see why there should not be seperate Forums for specialist subjets as it was before. Why would they be removed?It was working fine.

Also good to hear that languages will be implemented 👍
