Pen Color in 3D

Is there a way to force a user created object's color to be other than that chosen for the "floor plan" pen color when it is viewed in the 3D window?

Thanks.

If you know some GDL you can do it in the script.

Otherwise you are left with
'uncheck symbol colors'
but that will change it in all windows, not just the 3D one.

Very frustrating.

...anyway, anyone want to help with or point me in the right direction for fixing this with GDL?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

Glad to hear it.
How about posting a screen shot to show off your achievement?

I don't know about a nearly rectangular mullion being worth a screen shot, but all I did was open the GDL object, open the 2D view, select all the lines and changed them to the color I wanted for floorplan. The 3D script already called out the pen I wanted for 3D. Saved it, then set it to use the objects colors.

Thanks for posting your solution Garrett.

It may seem trivial, but for the next person who wants to do what you just did they now have a good explanation of how to accomplished this!
