Problem with a Skylight

Hi,
I'm asking for a help because, I'm not too expert, I have to model a skylight and I don't know how to do it.

My first thought would be to place a skylight as usual with the dimensions of your black box, then using a slab with sloped sides, SOE out the bottom.
