Rather than changing this value in the Wall Settings dialog box (which moves the entire Wall), change it in the Info Box, just the bottom (or top) height will change.

The problem is that you have probably trimmed the top of the Wall with a Roof. When you do this, the program stores the position of the trim relative to the Wall base. So if you lower your Wall the trim will also go lower.
You can do one of two things:
1. Undo the Trim and then Trim the Wall again with the Roof. In this case you will have to redo it if you place the Wall to another location vertically.
2. Use SEO, which creates an associative relationship between the Wall and the Roof that cuts it. In that case when the Wall is relocated vertically, the cut will update on the new location of the Wall ans Roof relative to each other.

Actually I don't have so much experience in Archicad I am new use.I didn't understand how can undo the trim.
Also I didn't understand what is SEO and how can I use this feature.Could you explain it in more detail by telling the steps.Thank you...

Select the trimmed Wall, go to its Settings Dialog and in the Model panel click the Undo Roof Trim button.

For SEO, go to the Help files and search Solid Element Operations. It will explain how to do them. Or see this clip:
