Problems With Cutting Holes In Vertical Elements

About Archicad's design tools, element connections, modeling concepts, etc.

Can anyone suggest a way of being able to 'cut out' a hole through the edge of a tapered wall? I'm trying to create a shelf that appears to have been cut out of a dividing wall which is at angle...does anyone know of a way to do this?

Use an empty window or SEO's. If what I imagine looks like what you want.
