I just did a test using a 5 foot radius quarter circle as the path
and set the magic wand to 10 segments along arcs.
What I got was a three segment object.
I changed the magic wand settings to 20 segments along arcs
and got a 5 segment object.
I did another test with the number of segments along arcs
set to 10 and the the quarter circle made to be a complete
circle and got a 10 segment object.
Apparently, the magic wand settings still control Profiler.

I tried again a few times and it seems as though it only is working w/ the "Segments Along Arcs/Circles" choice. I didn't use this before. I usually used "Deviation form Curves" or "Segment Length". It appears to default to Arcs/Circles no matter what I have chosen. If you have a minute could try one of the other choices?

I think you are right.
I just did a test using the same 5 foot quarter circle arc
with the magic wand set for deviation but the
object that was created was clearly following
the resolution along circles.
Profiler is broken in AC 10

Is there anything special we have to do to report this to Graphisoft?

I have heard several times on this forum
that you should report bugs to your local reseller.

I have been doing some more checking about this issue
and I have to withdraw my earlier statement that
Profiler is broken in AC 10.
I have checked AC 8.1 and AC 9 and both profilers
when following an arc do the same thing as AC 10's Profiler.
The only work-around is to trace the arc with straight line segments
by using the magic wand tool set to what ever resolution or
deviation from arc you want and trace with the line tool
or the polyline tool. Then have Profiler follow this path of
straight line segments. I refer you to this thread.
