Quick Views gone

Long time lurker, first time poster. Forgive me if I put this question in the wrong place. I have been working in a project for a week or so, and today I can't publish the quickviews. The quickviews are still in the quickview window. I have created new ones since the problem came about, and they too are not available to publish. It seems to be project specific. My only options in publisher are "The Entire (insert story/section here). Any ideas?

Our office is having problems with Teamwork and Quickviews.

We went through and deleted the preset views and created a single quick view list of all out pages. Then some how this list became only visible to the team leader. I then have gone in and made two new sets. Only these are visible to the team members. Only problem here is all the views are not in these new sets. So I went back in as team leader, duplicated the master viewset and now this list of views is visible again. However, the original list is still there with a double face in front of it. It seems this figure means something, but there is no help section which tells me why it is there.

Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this?

I have not found information relating to visibility rules of View Sets after sharing the PLN.

only:
"Each Teammate can create his or her own View Sets in the View Editor or Publisher mode of the Navigator palette. These sets can only be seen by others if the Teammate shares them.
The View Set pop-up menu at top right of the Publisher palette shows the status of each view set. The teammates icon indicates a set that belongs to others, while the open hand indicates a set that you created and shared with others, which means that they can see it. If there is no icon next to the name's view, this set belongs to you only and no other Teammates can see or use them.
You can share a view set by making it active and choosing the Share command in the pop-up menu next to the name field.
You can publish all shared sets, even if they contain views that are not in your workspace. When saving or uploading files, the location defined by the author of the set will be used. To save or upload them to a different location, select and duplicate the set.

This applies to V7 (not sure about V8), so I don't know if it will help or not as you didn't mention what version you are on, but I think the advice given so far relates to V8

The only way we can get views to update is to sign in as team leader with exclusive access, make the changes/create new views etc, sign out.
- Go to the preferences folder on everyone's machine (we're on Macs) and delete the prefs file for that plan (named after the PLP file).
- Then when each person signs in again they get a new prefs which is read from the main PLP and threfore contains the new views/publisher sets.

Infuriating, but workable. HIH.
