Rail Glass Panels Not Connecting at the Corner + Bottom Rail Misalignment

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with a balustrade corner in Archicad and I’m not sure how to fix it.

In my rail settings, the glass panels don't connect properly at the corner when the angle is 90° or close to 90°. The glass only connects correctly when the corner is obtuse — in obtuse angles the glass behaves as expected and joins cleanly.

In my balustrade settings, the glass panels do not connect properly at the corner when the “Segment Offset” (the first value shown as 4.50 in my screenshot) is set to anything above 0.
When I change this value to 0, the glass suddenly connects correctly in the corner — which is what I want.

However, when the value is set to 0, another problem appears:
the bottom rail (lower profile) moves upward and no longer aligns flush with the white fascia/edge of the slab. It should stay perfectly aligned with the top of the white cladding, but it lifts itself automatically when the offset is 0.

Has anyone encountered this issue? Is there a setting I’m missing that forces the bottom rail to remain at its correct elevation regardless of the panel offset? Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I've just created a similar railing. I faked it with 'rails'

I gave the panel a half thickness negative offset:

and the rail as well:

You can't have a toprail though, so the top one is also a rail.

You will need to make sure you show the rails in the modelview options to see something on the floor plan.

the problem still occurs when I add posts that need to be hidden behind the lower blind

I guess posts won't behave with this offset. You might have to model it with two railings or with a railing and beams.
