Hello everybody,
I'm using Archicad 25 and I have tons of railings in my project, and I don't want to manually draw them and manually write the numbers of railing and lenghts, number of handrail etc. I tried to do a (component) schedule for railing, but it just don't work right, the lenght is not right, axonometry same and number of handrail is also not right.
Do you have any recomendations how to do railing schedule please?
Thank you
Bye

Those railing previews are just samples based on your settings.
It will never show the complete rail as you have modelled it.
It is the same with curtain walls.
Even other elements like walls only show you a sample.
If you want to see the rail as it is in the model, you will have to create views for each one.

Thank you for response.
The preview is not the main problem, problem is in the numbers of railings (4th column - sorry I have czech version). I have just one railing ZB01 in project, and in 4th column, there is showing that there is 53 pieces. I dont know why.

I can't say I have ever tried scheduling a railing, but from what I can make out with Google translate is you have a quantity of 53 of those ZB01 rails.
What happens if you turn of the 'merge uniform items' option in the settings.
Do they all then list separately?

It will give 53 rows of ZB01 railing, but it just don't make sense, because in project I have just one ZB01.
Seems like I will have to draw them all in 2D and make a 2D table. I tried to ease my work. Shame it doesn't work right. But thank you anyway Barry.

I can't think why it is showing 53 separate rails unless you have 53 separate rails.
Maybe there are multiple copies in exactly the same place.
Select one and show in 2D or 3D.
Delete it and see if there is another still there.
Does the schedule now show 52 rails or none?
If it is the only rail, you can always undo the delete or just don't save the file.

Can you show us a screenshot of the Scheme Settings you used in the Interactive Schedule? I think you used the Components Schedule, and most probably it is counting every sub-element of the railing. Try to create an Elements Schedule and filter by Element type = railing only
As for the axonometry, it is not possible to show the real 3d axonometry of the railing (or any other element). It shows only a segment.
EDIT:
Okay, I tried to play a bit with the Components schedule for railing. I modeled a simple glass railing with fixings. Glass panel with the fixing option turned on. It looks like Archicad schedules can't recognize what are fixings what are panels. My railing had 9 glass panels. In the schedule it wrote 18. When I turned off the fixings options in the panels definition, it sad there are 9 panels. So it looks like a bug. Probably it counts every fixing in your rail and handrail, too. Check it out and tell us. If it is so, it is a bug.
