This has been my experience. I have looked for someway to restore that useful ability to redefine via the right click menu. I have had no luck.
Anyone else?

So what happened to redefine view? Is it coirrect that the only way to redefine a view to the current window is to go into the view setting dialog box and click the "Get Current Window Settings" button. It sure was a beauty. I think GS is now aligning Views with other tool's in that you have to edit their settings. That command is right there at the bottom of the context menu.
Right click>redefine view was a beauty.
The 'Get Current Window Settings' button will redefine the view with the settings of the current window, so that's one way of redefining (if the current window settings are what you want!). The other way is to simply adjust the settings manually within the 'View Settings' dialog.
Keep in mind that you can still select multiple views by ctrl or shift selecting them and adjust their settings all at once.
Cheers,
