Internet and server and printer with existing XP, and MacPro for AC.
Can the both systems be connected together?
I have used my MacBook Pro to connect with many Windows networks and have had no more than the usual problems, booting in either OS X or XP (networking outside of an all-Mac environment is always a bit of a pain).

I will be very interested to know how you like parallels. I haven't installed it yet since it will not use the same install of XP as Boot CampMatthew,

Just to have Apple is very painful (first of all because of hardware like printer etc...)

Archi wrote:Like the others, I have seen very few (practically no) hardware problems with the Mac or with the Mac running Windows. The only hardware issues I can think of is if your peripherals are so old that they lack USB ports.TomWaltz wrote:To avoid misunderstanding:~/archiben wrote:I was kind of thinking that too... I am Windowuser (at least till now) and I have already many hardware (like printer, modem and so on) for Window. If I buy MacPro, the hardwares are no more compatible with Mac.
That is my worry.

The question ist, why should we buy Window in this case?
Archi wrote:Most Macs take a DVI plug for the monitor but come with serial-to-DVI adaptors.
I think, monitor for window can not be used for Mac Os.... or?
