Has anyone else been able to have the cursor snap to any of the hotspots on the roof pivot line or fill origin?
Works fine in 9.

For me the fill origin line works fine but the roof pivot line is completely "dead". Of course you can get hold of it when you select it to edit it, but if you just want to snap to it with another object it doesn´t work, i.e. the end points like in AC9.

Greetings all,
Has anyone else been able to have the cursor snap to any of the hotspots on the roof pivot line or fill origin?
Works fine in 9.

Barry.
Thanks Barry. Are you using 10?
Well guys is this the way GS want us to go, surely not.
Previous versions the cursor snaps ok. To have to add another step in the activity is crazy.
It has to be a bug.
Do any of you agree?

Nope, can't select either unless the roof is selected first.

Yes I am just starting to use V10 (should update my signature).
I would regard it as a bug.
I can't see any reason for removing the feature.
I don't select the pivot line of ten but it is sometimes nice to be able to add another roof in matching the position of an existing pivot line.
The fills are new to me on roofs as I have jumped straight from V81 to V10, but it would be nice to be able to select these directly without having to select the roof first.
It's only one extra click to select the roof first but it just makes working on roofs mor inconvenient.
Barry.

It is when you want to adjust/line up another element to either the roof pivot or fill origin. The cursor floats over said hotspot but will not snap. You have to either select then place user origin or a hotspot on the pivot/fill origin before you have point to snap to. Adjusting location/oreintation of pivot is simple. It is when you drag and want to have the cursor snap to any other pivot/fill origin that life becomes a little more frustrating.
The fill origin on slabs works as it should.
