Scale in one direction

Kristen

Hi!
Does anyone know if it is possible to scale something in one direction....ie. i have received a very detailed 2D facade that is drawn incorrectly. Half of the facade angles away but it is drawn as if looking straight on. I can stretch it to the right size but there are a lot of openings and lines so it requires a lot of individual stretching to get it right. Therefore I wonder if it is possible to scale in the x-direction whilst retaining the original scale in the y-direction.
Is this possible in archicad

Archicad doesn't really have that feature.

The easiest thing I could think of is to:
1) save the elevation as an object
2) place that object
3) make sure the X and Y parameters are unlinked
4) change the X parameter to be smaller

...and then i should be able to explode the object and continue to use the 2D lines in their correct new position i presume...great. thankyou!
