Hi! My three possible guesses:
1. Maybe the section has a limited depth

2. Or your section settings are such that uncut elements do not show

3. you have a graphic override active that has the uncut lines with a white pen.

The first solution worked thanks, but its not always available when editing stairs. Is there an exact point where i should aim?

The first solution is linked to the section element in the floor plan, not the stairs.

So when you have a section marker on a plan, you could see the option there and adjust the depth of each section to your needs.
