Selection Method

Is there a way to make the Selection method a shortcut (similar to geometry method which is "g")? I guess now that I look at it is would only be viable for the selection tool. In any event there doesn't seem to be a location where that is shortcut can be assigned in the keyboard shortcut area of the work environment.

Any ideas?

Here is now it can be done.

This will allow you to change colour and layer, but not linetype. If you have various elements, like lines, polylines and arcs all selected, click on the "Uniform settings for line tools" button, then change linetype.
