Hi,
I'm using Archicad 28. My TAB key isn't working correctly.
When I press it, it's supposed to help me select overlapping elements, but instead, it's changing their position or angle.
My Quick Selection is enabled. Any idea why this is happening?
Thank you,
Eddy

Hey @eddy007 !
I can only think of one reason why this would happen to you.
Aren't you selecting an element already when pressing TAB? You should just hover over (and not click).
Or maybe you have another shortcut assigned to TAB in your shortcut list? (but still, you would need to select the element first).
Let me know if that helps.

I find it has to do with the snap guides.
If they are not active or your cursor is not touching one, then the TAB key will cycle through overlapping objects.
But if they are active and the cursor touches one, the coordinate tracker will appear and the TAB key cycles though the tracker values not the elements.
So, watch to see that you don't have the tracker appear.
Or cancel the snap guides with the ESC key.
Or turn the snap guides off all together.
Turning the tracker off does not work.
If the cursor is still touching a snap guide, you won't get the tracker, but you can't cycle between the objects either.
Barry.
