Shadow Diagrams

Hey Guys,

Im having trouble copying my shadow diagrams from 3d mode. I have switched internal engine on. Fitting 3d to page and clicking on a flat surface with look to perpindicular. i then marquee the 3d object and copy and then paste into my floorplan. The shadows dont paste to scale.

I have tried right clicking in 3d and opening window settings and try to switch off keep proportions. but it wont let me. Please help. How can i get these shadows to scale ?

Have you tried using the 3D document to capture the view?

My old fashioned way is to save the 3d view as 2dl and then bring the shadow only....

When you copy a dialogue should appear.
One of the options there is for a "Scaled drawing" rather than a "painting screenshot" or "drawing".
You can also choose to copy just the shadows and no other construction elements.
