Shadows in 3d document

I can see window shadows in 3d model, but as soon as I open a 3d document those shadows dont appear, the shadow settings are on and I can see other shadows, only the window (glass) shadows are not appearing!

Did you turn on the Shadow checkbox in the "Model Appearance" panel of the 3D Document Dialog?

If I do that, Shadows will be generated for me.

However, it seems that there is still a limitation: glass panes will not be interpreted as holes in the Shadows in the 3D Document Viewpoint. I think this is the limitation of the Vectorial Engine, which the 3D Document Viewpoint uses. (The 3D Viewpoint can use Hardware acceleration.)

It does work but doesn't always update automatically.  (not even with rebuild or rebuild from model)

Turn of transparency and back on again.

Also make sure your glass is > 50% transparant
