It is hard to find the right 'balance' between all materials. You can
make a copy of the concrete building material with a higher priority
value for the slabs...
Curved is possible >> add posts with the same complex profile to fill
the gaps. It is not at all heavy (heavy). Only not recommended if you
make whole buildings of it. Each flute has about 40 points.
You could use a railing with round balusters for creating the fluting.
This way you can easily control the size and spacing. Nice detail for
renders! PS it is also possible to make the frontpanel with as a railing
