Found som info on the matter:
Roof/Shell Edge Listing Parameters

But it looks like it doesn't do anything to the shape of the roof.

I'll look at it right now....but...what's the point with all these "settings" if the edge shape doesn't change? What's up with that?

OK..read the dern article....and you are correct...doesn't seem to do anything to the "shape" of the edge I'm referring to. what's the point with all these settings if they don't don anything?

Been wondering the same thing. What's the point of it.

You could put a morph against it to achieve the result.

You can view the Shell in a Section, then add a node to Its Profile line to alter the edge.

The Edge Setting is for listing only (so quantities can be summed for Eaves, Ridges, etc.), similar to the Roof Tool.

Hi.

You could also extend the profile -with the same slope- and then define a contour in floor plan to its original extent. It should cut it like you need to.
