Slowness between sections and floor plan

Archcad V10 has recently developed a problem with a long pause after being in a section window and going back to the floor plan. 6-8 seconds before I can pick or move an object on the floor plan. The problem also exist to a lesser degree going into a manually linked section. Again a 5-6 second pause.
I've done the normal things to clean up the computer, but to no avail .
I have tried removing all library objects, but that dosent fix it
I note that in V9 There is no problem, the transition is instant. Zero waiting. Any ideas how I might rectify this

Thanks Richard.

Which update of AC10 are you on? I've notice similar behaviour (still on 1010), most annoyingly in detail windows, but recently going back to plan after being in a section too. Not sure when that started, but it was recently, not related to any update that I have performed.

Richard,

I have also noticed this with about the same time delays. At first I didn't know what was happening so I was clicking in the plan window to do something and nothing was happening and then it would release and I would be into a drawing command. Quite annoying as it did not used to be this way. I am on the latest update.

I am on the latest release 1183 NZE full.
And now that you mention it the slowness would have started around the time I downloaded the latest release.
The long pause in the detail window has been with V11 the whole time. What I do to get round this is select the detail in the tool selection and change the boundary box to the one with the X in it. This in turn puts a dashed circle around the detail label in navigator instead of a dashed square. Shouldnt have to do this though.
I have found V10 to be a lot slower to navigate around than was V9
