License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Solid Element Operations problems!

I have been editing a roof, and I have the walls SOE'ed. After changing the pitches and realigning the edges, the walls are no longer cut. I re-cut them and they stay uncut. I have copied and replaced the roof and it still has the same problem. is there some kind of bug or something? if anyone can help that would be great.

I have had the problem before with meshes, and I copied the mesh and replaced the old one and then it worked, takes a few times of copying and pasting.

If you simply want a hole thru a slab (i.e. not a recess) just select the slab, have slab tool active and draw the shape of the hole. Bingo.

Thanks for the help, I know about the cutting of slabs by dragging shapes, but in this case I had a shape of a floor or house outline sent and would not have been so easy to do the simple method. So I made a copy put on a new layer and... anyway all is ok now so I'm on to the next problem. Thanks again, Fred Wright, Architect
