Split Roofs into Planes: OK am I mssing something here ?

Anonymous
Not applicable
So I'm trying to split a gable roof structure into planes so I can permanently trim a wall (wall is a sloped parapet higher than the roof).

Problem is the command doesn't seem to work. When I do it in plan view it does give me a warning - but still doesn't work...

What version of Archicad and what operating system are you using?
Best to add info to your signature in the PROFILE link at the top of this forum so it is there in all post you send.

So you are selecting the roof and right mouse clicking and choosing 'Split into single roof planes'.
Then choosing 'Split anyway' in the resulting dialog.

This is working fine for me in 17 even when the roof is visible in a storey other than its home storey.

What are the exact steps you are trying?

Barry.
