Split a wall through a roof.

I need to split a wall through a roof, so I have to separates walls one underneath the roof and other above the roof to applying different materials. Is it that possible?

The best way I know how to do this is to copy and paste the full height wall so you have identical walls in the same position.
Select one and trim it to the underside of your roof removing the top portion and then select the other and trim it to the top of your roof removing the bottom portion.

Unfortunately there is now way to spit a wall on an angle (that I know of unless you convert it into a morph).

I did, but unfortunately if you do that, the program has some kind of "remiembering" of the first wall, (the one underneath" that when I place the walls together, the wall underneath disappear (you can only see the windows). It seems that when you overlap two walls one of them disappear like convert in invisible seeing only the windows.

Hm, only ever had that happen with hotlinks... it usually has to do with overlapping reference lines.

In plan you can only see one wall with its openings.
To see the other you have to change the display order, but then you wont see the other wall.
I used the 'Connect' > 'Trim to roof/shell' option to trim the walls.

I have to try that option, but by chance I found another way. You just draw the roof a little into the wall, and then change the core surface material in the upper wall and should work. We will have walls with two different'
materials

For the trim option (or Solid Element Operation which is another way) the roof must pass through the wall and at least one building material in the roof composite (preferably the top one) must be stronger that the building materials in the wall.
Otherwise the wall will automatically cut a hole in the roof and the trim/SEO will not work.

I am not sure exactly what you have done, but if it works that is all you need.
