Stairs not showing

Brad Norris

I have seen the other posts on this and none of them solve my problem.  The stairs are there, the up word appears and the break lines appear but everything else is hidden. I can even click on the stairs and they get highlighted. But otherwise they aren't showing.  I checked all of the lines, I made sure it is raised to the top of everything. I even copied off to the side out in space to make sure nothing was interfering with it. and same thing.  It shows up in 3D and in section.  Its home story is the first floor and it is set to show up on 1st and second floor.  I tried the renovation filter thing.

It will be very hard to say without seeing the file.

The stair in the hall seems to be working so it must be a setting in those stairs.

Maybe you can select in plan and save as a module.

Then attach the module to a reply here (you may need to zip it).

But that may not help if you have a custom template, but could be worth a try still.

The stairs in hall are just lines.  I tried to save as a module file but it warned that only floor plan data can be saved and this format says .mod files are not supported

Also the zip file is also to big

Select just the stair, FILE menu > External Content > Save Selection as Module.

It will be a very small file but you may have to ZIP it to attach here.
