Steel Sections for Beams and Columns

Does anyone have a collection of steel sections for beams and columns that they would be willing to share?

I am about to start a bunch of structural steel models and it would be great not to have to create all the profiles from scratch. It's not a big deal to do - I'll only make the ones I need of course - but it would be nice not to have to take the time.

Not as convenient (but may be the better choice). The other options are Revit Structure and Tekla.
Remember that sloping beams and columns distort the shape so they are no longer accurate...
Forgot about that. May not be a problem. Not sure yet if there are sloping beams or columns in the projects.

Thanks for all the response guys.

i'm not sure if they've updated it recently, but there is an 'x-steel' library on GS's 'structure' pages. using those steel objects rather than the AC library steel means you can round-trip with tekla . . . and supposedly be able to bring connection plates back into AC once the engineers have run their analysis and exported . . . ?

Cool. Thanks Ben. I'll check it out. I knew I heard something about the round trip to Tekla. This could be VERY good.

in fact - it looks like the 'x-steel' library is no longer available, but that the workflow uses IFC and archicad's own steel objects. much better! that's something i suggested a long time ago. ( )
