Strange fill

When I open 8.1 files with 9 all of the blank openings show up with a green fill with hatch and it cant be edited.
Anyone know what this is?

Any chance you're using D3 Smartparts Real Doors & Windows with the latest revision? Openings now have a fill parameter that could produce something like this. If you can find the parameter, you can change it (to transparent pen is good.)

If not, you're on your own.

Richard,

That was it! I like this new feature. I am finding that there are a lot of new little features like this in 9. Another one I like is the Quick Selection tool. I was pretty frustrated with the way 9 selects things until I discovered it is something you can toggle on and off.

Thank you for answering my question. I hope it feels as good to have helped someone as it does to get helped.

Steve,

I notice the font shown in your drawing is an Autocad font.
Can you tell me where you got it and how to install it into AC?
Is there a Mac version?

All AutoCAD fonts now come as True Type as well as the older .shx file, just get a hold of a copy of the true type version and install.

Actually it's not an AutoCAD font. Its called SPHand. It is a unique font that came with my old SoftPlan. A similar font I like is very much is called MrHand. (Mister Hand).
