I need to stretch an imported drawing.
I have broken the link. I can not turn off the height to width link in A10.
Any suggestions?

It seems we can only stretch proportionally.... your trying to stretch in the "X" direction only, yes?

yes.
x direction only.

use the 'adjust polygon outline' option in the pet palette (top row, left hand side) and drop a guide line along the x direction you want to move along . . .

(i'd show a screenshot, but archicad build 966 seems to have obliterated my screen grab utilities . . . anyone else on a mac who can't screen grab from AC10 966?)

I couldn't get that to work.... it just resized the window without "stretching" the image.

I get screen shots using both the "Grab" application and the "commond+shift+4" apple shortcut.

ah! you actually want to stretch the image not just the drawing frame?!

i guess you need to be able to unlock the proportions then . . . can't think why you would ever use it - deliberate distortion?!

(btw - my screen grab is back. no idea what happened yesterday . . .)
