Besides the documentation included with the program and the extensive discussions here, I don't know of any books, essays or articles about it. Have you tried a search of the forum?

There is a "Search" link near the top of the Forum that will allow you to search for various terms.

Usually "teamwork" is a good start, then add words like "layers" or whatever else you might want.
