I haven't noticed it "turning off".... but it's gone every time I open a project.... that is, unless I select my "Default settings".

Not sure if this relates: http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=11394

gives me a chuckle. i hate the thing: it's one bug i won't be reporting. GS are probably out there now thinking, 'wow, no complaints about the tracker. people must really like it" . . . little do they know no-one's using it because it 'gets bored' ha!

I wasn't sure at first but I have gotten to really like the little bugger. The direct numeric entry is quick and easy and I have it set so it doesn't interfere with the coordinates palette.

Same here. Miss it when it's sick. Or home for acute depression.

I find the pet pallette is reluctant to be selected when the tracker is on. (Maybe is fixed in current version but I havent upgraded until the labels in sections is fixed)

matthew,
i kind of like the tracker also.
how do you have it setup so tracker does not interfere w/ coordinates palette?
i am having problems getting either coordinates or control box palettes to show up. have many ac talk done searches to no avail. i have also had troubles moving origion pt using the toolbar symbol, especially problemartic since i have no palette.
thanks!

I'm running 1010 mactel, and have the "disappearing" tracker problem, but I'm also having a problem with it not wanting to stay in my WE profile.
I've redefined my WE profile several times, and it still doesn't open up with the tracker on. Redefining other WE things "works", and I've got the profile working fine on my mactel laptop.
Any suggestions for a buried setting that might be interfering?

I guess my next move is to delete all my custom profiles and try to re-import them from my laptop. That's what I did to begin with, so I don't know what went wrong.
