Unable to Insert Special Character "ø" in the Dimension Text

Anonymous
Not applicable
After I tried various encoding settings in the "Dimension Text Setting" Windows, it is so frustrating that any special character(such as ø) could not be displayed in the Dimension Text". (Figure 1)

More than that, any special character could not be displayed in the setting window! (Figure 2 & Figure 3)

The special character is correct in the Text. (Figure 4)

The User Interface in ArchiCAD did not support UNICODE yet.

I tried to change the region and language in the Control Panel. However it doesn't work. I wonder what is the proper window environment?

You should be able to create the special character in a text window, then copy and paste it into the dimension text dialog box after you change it to custom. That works for me.

Huh, I guess we never could do that. I've only ever used the +/- symbol and that works. Never realized others didn't.

Not that it will help, but it works on a Mac.
"Option o" for the diameter symbol.
