Undocumented Improvements in AC15

Here is the beginning of a list of 'minor' fixes in AC15 that I was personally involved in. I hope that others may be able to add other undocumented improvements to it:

1. Mirroring text now mirrors the anchor point.
2. The Help menu search function is no longer case sensitive.
3. Fill Area Text's are transferable via the eyedropper/syringe.
4. Project North now accepts up to 4 decimals (when set in working units).
5. Right click on Layouts and Masters to edit their settings.
6. Module Save Options have a new display setting.

It may dock, but it's still not saved as one of the Palette settings in the Work Environment.

And for the love of all things good... please keep the TOOLBOX where I put it on a MAC! Every time I open ArchiCAD... it's bad enough that I have to move it back in place... but the darn thing resizes to the full height of the screen but is placed down 40 or 50 pxls so I have to drag it UP, resize it smaller, drag it down into place then drag it to fit the space I've left for it...

.... A little CHEESE to go with that WHINE!....

One small change:

If element(s) are selected before opening the Solid Element Operations dialog box (Edit Targets and Operators), those element(s) will be already selected as Targets. This was not the case in 14.

I'm amazed it took me so long to notice, but identical materials on adjacent elements now clean up in the 3d window with no join in between.

Isn't this the way it's supposed to work? Or is this something that was broken in AC14?

As far as I know, it has never worked in the OpenGL powered 3d window. It works as expected in all other views though.

Changes in the interpretation of GDL

From ArchiCAD 15 on, calling a missing macro will trigger an error in the interpretation. This makes the outcome of the scripts more reliable and makes the testing and assembling of correct libraries easier.

AC help
A fourth option is the Radial Distorted Fill construction method, with which you can graphically adjust the vector’s radial distortion. This is available only for a selected symbol Fill and only if:
•the symbol fill was used as a skin of a composite structure; and
•the skin’s Fill Orientation was defined as Fit to Skin in the Composite Structures dialog box; and
•you have selected this symbol fill after exploding a curved composite wall.

Note: The use of many radial distorted fills in your project may decrease project performance.
