When I insert the wall end, the materials are not matching the existing wall.

Wall ends are library parts which have their materials defined in the GDL script. The can use the walls materials but not all do. There should be a parameter for this in the dialog. Try looking under "3D Representation".

thank you!
my next question is -
is it possible to set the wall end 'model view options', to match the wall to which it is attached?
currently, i have my walls set to display contour lines only in plan. however, i can find no equivalent setting for wall end objects.
any advice?
thanks in advance.

i was using 'returned end', but i swapped it out for the 'wrapped end' to see what happened: i still get the wall contours behaving as i'd would want and expect them to based on the model view options.

what are your 2D Representation Settings? mine are in the screenshot below. does that make a difference?
