Not sure how to solve this or why it is happening. All the interior walls are cleaning up well in plan except for this one junction (see attached picture). Same layer, same junction order, and I have played around endlessly with the reference lines, and still, there is a line appearing at the junction. If I move the wall more to the left, the line disappears; but close to that corner, I cannot get rid of it.

I just created a new composite using random Building Materials, made sure the centre BM was stronger that the outer BM, and it all seems fine.

I do not have 27, but my guess was that 27 cleaned up the junctions for parallel walls given that in 22 and 23 you would sometimes get a partial line at the overlap. Barry's images seem to show that that is not the case though given that his walls do not show the line...

Got it, although I don't think this should have an effect (i.e. bug?).
The same skins should still merge.
The difference with the new composite I made is I didn't set the outer skins to 'finish' or 'other'.
They were all 'core'.

Maybe it is what I thought it was then? Does the line remain if you seperate the two vertical walls?

RP is using a Mac with Sonoma so we might need someone to test it out with the same OS just to make sure. That is if he hasn’t been able to get those walls to cleanup correctly with those suggestions made by Barry & Ling.

And it only seems to be a problem when the 2 vertical walls are not in line or completely offset from each other (i.e. they overlap a bit).
I have tried all positions for reference lines and junction order and display order, and it seems to not make any difference.
Barry.

Yep. Complex Profile (see previous screenshot)
Onland instructions are from 2010 there were no complex profiles for that AC version IIRC.

I am using Sonoma and the bug is there.
FWIW this is a workaround to that particular bug which needs to be fixed.

Hi Eduardo--
Sorry to be so obtuse, but I am unable to replicate your workflow with the complex profile column creation. How are you using the marquee tool to copy into the profile manager? My "Element Selection - Capture" button is greyed out in the profile manager after drawing the marquee. Your other instruction to just select and copy the walls and hotspots also does not allow me to "capture". If I do not select the hotspots, I can 'capture' the element, but all it does it bring in one of the walls in the profile editor. Looking for help through web-search, but not much success in finding instructions on how to select and capture elements in the manner you are suggesting.

Thanks Barry. Not the perfect solution, but changing all BMs to Core does do the trick.
