Wall construction: Using composites.

While using composite wall structures developed per our construction methods we have run into the problem having visually showing them in their entirety through the floor plans. We would like to see all the elements of a composite wall in a section cut or detail, but when these are shown we are unable to show just the framing thickness on the floor plans. We would like to avoid creating walls systems in ArchiCAD that simple one core elements requiring extensive detailing after section cuts are made. Any help would greatly appreciated.

You can sort of fake it with an organized pen table. If you assign specific pens to the wall core elements and core fills, vs the skin lines and skin fills, you can assign your drawing a pen table on the layout (Drawing Settings) that has those skin elements drawn with a white pen. In 11 you can use that pen table with a working view as well.

If the cores of joining walls (e.g.) do not touch, then there will be a gap.

If I understand your question correctly it seems as though this can be resolved by applying a different model view option to your floor plan then you use for the section views still using the same composite.
