Wall tool _ issue: "45 degrees cuts" for the bottom edges of the walls

Hello everyone,

I'm recently facing the following "anomaly": the walls are having 45 degrees cuts at the bottom edges like in the bellow picture.

Can anybody tell me why? can anybody advise how to have normal edges (90 degrees edge) for the bottom edges of the walls?

PS: I'm using Archicad 21 (with usb key) if it counts.

Thank you!

Okay I may have found your problem.  I think you've somehow turned on the Log Wall properties for all your walls.  Take a look at my two images and let me know if you've got the Log Wall properties turned on (checked).   If you turn it off the 45 deg angles should go away.  This was the only way, beside a complex profile, that I could replicate your problem.  Let me know your results.

This is not normal, does this happen to all your walls?

It looks like a complex profile wall with bevelled edges.  Can you send more screenshots/infomation? walltype etc..

Yes, I noticed this issue for all the walls, independent on which level I'm creating the wall.

I didn't use complex profile walls.

The beveled edges are visible also on facades at the junction line between the levels of the building. Each time, the bottom edges of each wall are beveled (snips bellow) ...

Snip with basic section wall:

Snip from 1st level, having a composite section wall:

Can you provide a snapshot of your wall properties?
