I think there is a glitch where Archicad stops looking for the license (it is not that the licesne is not responding as they were fine and others were still working).
I have had this happen before and in particular twice within minutes of each other just the other day.
I selected two windows and opened thier settings dalogue both times and 14 froze.
It was still responding according to the task manager but nothing would bring it back.
The first time I closed the application and restarted it - autosave kicked in and I didn't lose any work.
The second time I'm not sure if it was because I then accessed another Archicad that was running or because I opened the server manager to check the licenses but Archicad un-froze by itself and was fine.
It could also be that it just had enough time to recover by itself and not because of anything I did.
I'll be experimenting more if it happens again.
